Steve Walsh is a Certified Public Accountant with over 14 years of experience in public and private services across multiple industries, including a Big 4 and nonprofit accounting. Steve served as the first company controller in CFOshare and expanded the accounting department from a team of one to fifteen members; he currently manages a team of 3 staff accountants and 1 AP clerk. Steve has extensive experience in building strong and efficient accounting processes and controls, overseeing all aspects of annual external audits, preparing, and distributing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, supervising all major account reconciliations, and administering the general ledger; plus, he is a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. Steve holds an MBA in Educational Leadership Renewal Change and a bachelor’s in accounting from Virginia Tech. Steve is proficient in creating and maintaining personal and professional relationships; he is a real team player. Steve was a ski bum for more than 6 years and during his free time, he enjoys skiing with his wife and friends.
