Aaron Edwards, MBA

Aaron Edwards, MBA, is a Fractional Controller at CFO Share, where he builds accounting departments from the ground up for growing businesses. He sets up the month-end close, puts internal controls in place, cleans up books that have fallen behind, and leads the staff accountants who keep the work on track. Just as important, he sits down with owners to walk through their financial statements and the decisions those numbers support.

Aaron has more than a decade of accounting experience. Before joining CFO Share in 2021, he was Financial Controller at NuLeaf Naturals and Controller at United Cannabis Corporation, and earlier worked in the North American accounting hub of Evonik. Today he serves clients in law, sales and marketing, data science, cannabis and CBD, manufacturing, restaurants, aviation, and property management. His paralegal degree and early work in a law office give him a head start with law firm clients.

Aaron holds an MBA in Finance from Ohio University, is a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, and is pursuing his CPA license. He lives in Castle Rock, Colorado, with his wife, two dogs, and five cats. Off the clock, he is a guitarist and musician and an avid gamer.
